Rebecca Hamlett has been in the position of Instruction & Archive Librarian since June 2011. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Computer Information Science from William Jewell College in 2010. She earned her Master’s of Library Science with a Graduate Academic Certification in Advanced Management of Library and Information Agencies in 2011. She is a veteran of the U.S. Army and decided on a career in library science after spending time in positions of police dispatching and manufacturing management.

Rebecca resides in Kansas City, just outside the city of Liberty. She enjoys spending time with her family and going out to eat. She also likes reading about new technological innovations and developments in the fields of library science and education, as well as fiction best-sellers and literary classics. She enjoys teaching information literacy to students and welcomes emails and appointments for research and reference assistance.
